Borrowing from Screw‘s words, the burial for our former CEO, Dato’ Pian alhamdulilah went well yesterday.

I personally never knew him but most of my bosses did and my colleagues too. At the Kiara cemetary, scores of people thronged the burial plot.  And it was a sad event indeed.

I hitched a ride with my old friend, Idham and after all was done, it was time to catch up with everyone since the industry we’re working in is pretty small and everyone and anyone knows almost everyone.

I caught up with the KLCC boys, both from the oil and gas and the not so oil and gas guys.  It was kinda refreshing to meet these people over the many years and to find out that they are still the same souls they were before, even when they have moved up the ladder.  A tad of envy though, but that was quickly squashed by the thought of life ends, anyhow.
