hanaa .. that’s the best part about this recipe .. easy to make and not having to scout for ingredients is a great plus …

nancyB .. it didn’t dome that much though .. i thought mine looked like top hats, with rims .. but the crunchy lips are the best … hahaha

Your cupcakes look great! Yup, i think in Asia, we don’t have ‘coffee-cakes’ or we don’t call them that i think….i never realised what coffee cakes are until i started baking too read! Coffee cakes probably = Tea cakes? LOL!

Btw, I’ve tried the pioneerwoman’s coffee cake that Gartblue mentioned and it is really good. Try it! If you are a coffee drinker, you’ll definitely love it! I think the coffee frosting is a bit sweet though, so you might want to change it to your taste – since i’m not a fan of the butter/icing sugar frosting – too sweet imo.

Love the cupcakes–I used the six-cup bundt pan and just made two of them. I thought I’d have a chance to taste one of the cupcakes, but somehow they were gone before I got to them.
